CYMHS Mural Concept
The Brief
The Liveworm studio collaborated with Gold Coast Health who had asked us to create concepts for their mural at the Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit. The clients wanted the local flora depicted as well as the various biomes in the nearby area. It had to fit within the guidelines and follow the colour palette as well as be fit to be displayed in a space relating to mental health.
The Solution
This piece was developed in Adobe Illustrator, were I further refined my skills in developing illustrations through shapes on a digital platform. I also collaborated with peers in the studio to gather feedback and further develop my piece.
Through the use of repeated motifs and native flora to depict the biomes of the Gold Coast area, I was able to create a piece that would be fit to be displayed in the new space.
