Typeface - Groovy Mood.
The Brief
I completed this task during my Graphic Design Degree at Griffith. We were asked to create a typeface starting with a hand drawn sketch that would fit into any chosen style that we liked. I chose to create this “groovy” 70’s inspired font.
The Solution
The initial process included hand sketching the design which was transferred onto a digital platform - Adobe Illustrator - where I used points and shapes to create a digitally useable typeface.
The result is definitely “groovy” I was extremely happy with the way this typeface turned out and love that I have a properly useable font designed by me.
Highlighted Features
This is where I was able to showcase specific aspects of my typeface - this project can be seen on my Behance profile.
